Chick and Brain rating 4 out of 5 stars

I am ashamed to say that I own two other books by Michelle Windsor, but haven’t read them yet. However, I am glad that I got a chance to read Losing Hope! I was captivated by the first sentence! Windsor has a way with words that not many authors do. She weaves a story that you can not help, but fall in love with once you start reading it.

Hope is a workaholic, and when she comes home to find her boyfriend has cheated on her, she decided it is time to spend some time reflecting on life. Fate always steps in when you least expect it. On her way to her impromptu vacation, she gets stuck in a horrible storm. It seems that destiny was at play because along the way she runs into Gabe and an ex-military man who was photographing his friend’s wedding. However, Gabe has found himself with a dead phone and stranded on a deserted road. Hope is exactly what he had been waiting for, and although skeptical at first she decided to give him a ride to find a phone.

What should have been a short and simple farewell turns into a weekend full of laughs, tender moments, and some hot and steamy sexy filled nights. Gabe and Hope could not be more different, so although the sparks flew during their weekend getaway what will awake them come Monday morning?

This is an insta-love story that has well-developed and chemistry that leaps right off the pages.! Windsor does an amazing job of ensuring that we fall madly in love with all of the character so that when she drops a bombshell on Hope and Gabe, we the reader are just as devastated of the two of them. Losing hope is a story that has all the making for the best read of your life! There is love, betrayal, lies, and completely makes us all question what we thought was real, to begin with.

A true page turner from the start! I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a story that grabs you from the very start. I promise once you start you will not be able to put it down until you have finished.
