Book Review: My Week with the Bad Boy by Brooke Cumberland and Lyra Parish

Goodreads Synopsis:

Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk.

That should’ve been my first sign.

I write about guys just like him for a living—sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic fuckboy.

And I want nothing to do with that.

Writing romance novels comes with its perks—traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head—but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you.

One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems.

One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more.

**This is a complete STANDALONE novel—filled with plenty of humor, steam, & romance!**
18 & up only due to explicit sexual content, language, and adult content.

Chick and Brain Rating 5 out of 5

Brooke Cumberland and Lyra Parish are a force to be reckoned with both alone and together. These two woman have a captured my soul as the duo Kennedy Fox but I was not prepared for what was waiting for me when I picked up My week with the Bad Boy.

Vada is a writer that can’t write. So she runs away from all her distraction only to run into another on in the form of the sexiest guy she has even seen in her life, Ethan. Ethan is a bad boy with a devastating past, but when these two lay eyes on each other sparks flew and these two were passenger in the ride toward their happily ever after.

I devoured this book in a few hours. I laughed, cried, and even screamed as I read it, but couldn’t have asked for a better ending. In their typical fashion Parish and Cumberland have left me begging for more. I can’t wait for the next installment. I am officially a life long fan of these two. Together, separate, or even as Kennedy Fox; if these two write it I will read it.

“I received an ARC at no cost from the author”
