I received this ARC from the Author in exchange for an honest review
So this is a first time for me. Nora Heat is the Smut pen name for Author Shanora Williams. I have read Shanora Williams work before and just like before it was like reading crack. I was instantly drawn into the story and was unable to put it down. Although this was a novella, Heat created a complete story for our smutty enjoyment.
Dirty Little Secret focuses on Dominic Thomas who is left by his wife out of the blue with his 18 month old daughter Hannah to take care of. His best friend’s family steps in and helps Dominic fill in the gaps that his wife left, but their daughter Naomi does the most. Naomi has a little more at stake than just babysitting little Hannah for Dominic, he is the one and only man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and she will do anything to make sure that happens. It only takes one night of weakness for Dominic and Naomi to end up together. Naomi and Dominic begin to see each other in secret behind her father’s back, but eventually all secrets are discovered.
Heat gives us a story full of the deliciously written smut that will bring a smile to your face, but also tells a story. We are given characters that show depth and growth through the entire short period of time in this novella, Although it is a novella, Heat is able to show us an extended period of time for each character to develop feelings for one another and grow both emotionally towards each other as well as physically.
This is a face paced smutastic read that is perfect for a quick Friday night in read. If you are looking for a story that gets right down to the business than this is the story for you.
Until next time,
