Review: Beauty in Winter (Beauty #4) by Alexa Riley

Goodreads Synopsis:

Fiona Lamb has lost everything, and her only option is to work for a reclusive billionaire to get back the one thing that’s most important to her.

Reid Gold has been cursed. He’s the alpha shifter, but he’s unable to change into his wolf and lead his pack. But one scent of his mate and everything changes.

Warning: This beauty and the beast-inspired story is quick, filthy, and over-the-top alpha. Hold on to your Kindles because Reid’s inner beast finally gets to come out and play.

Chick and Brain Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

I was graciously provided this ARC by the author in exchange from an honest review.

Yup, I read another retelling of Beauty and the Beast but this is way different then my usual ones. This one is straight to the point down and dirty take charge Alpha male Werewolf at his best.  This is the last installment of the Beauty and the Beast retelling series, but it was my first read. Let met tell you, it made me go and purchase the rest of the series because it was not enough. This was not my favorite, but Riley definitely did the series justice.

Fiona is a woman who wants nothing more than to hold on to a memory and Reid is the means for her to do so. Fiona is Reid’s means to finally fulfill his destiny as the alpha of his pack. However for the two of them they both all gain something more from this experience, love and family. There isn’t much to this book, it just good old fashion smut! If you are looking for something with a plot and story line this is not the book for you. However if you want a quick read that gets down and dirty with an amazingly written alpha Werewolf than this is the story for you.
